Method
The OMNIS Daily is built as a compact daily edition: one Lead Story, clear desk sections, concise article summaries, and visible source links so readers can understand both what happened and why it matters.
Gathering
Each edition begins with current reporting from accountable sources: wire services, established newsrooms, official records, local outlets, public agencies, and primary documents when they are relevant.
The goal is not to collect every headline. The goal is to identify stories with civic, practical, institutional, technological, or regional significance and present them in a useful daily shape.
Sourcing
Every article preserves source links. Official records and primary documents are used for what they can prove; independent reporting is used for context, impact, and competing claims.
Local News favors approved local and official sources, including WRAL, ABC11 / WTVD, and weather.gov for official weather alerts and forecasts.
Selection
Stories are selected for reader value, not for volume. A stronger issue may leave out a loud but thin story in favor of a quieter story with clearer evidence and more durable importance.
The Lead Story should carry the strongest issue-level significance. The remaining stories are grouped by desk so readers can move through the edition by subject.
Presentation
The Today page opens with a full-width Lead Story, followed by desk sections for World News, US News, Local News, Middle East / Iran, AI News, and Editorial.
Each article includes a headline, subheadline, short synopsis, a plain-language Why It Matters note, and a link to the full article.
Editorial Labeling
Article bodies contain source-linked synthesis: reported facts, attributed claims, factual context, and stated uncertainty. Interpretation and editorial judgment are kept in the clearly labeled Why It Matters section, including for stories selected through the Editorial desk.
Images And Corrections
Images are omitted unless rights are clear: owned, licensed, public-domain, compatible-license, WordPress media library, or clearly labeled generated illustration.
When a published item needs correction, the standard is to preserve the public record while making the corrected article clearer and more accurate for readers.
Limits
The OMNIS Daily is not a complete wire service or a real-time breaking-news feed. It is a curated daily edition, meant to give readers a source-linked synthesis of selected stories that matter.
