A Durham search warrant describes a chain of retaliatory shootings spanning seven months around a public-housing complex. The warrant says at least five shootings followed an initial February homicide at the Cornwallis Road Housing complex. Two people younger than 18 were wounded three days after that killing in an incident police described as retaliation.
